Project Description

Mozambique is considered one of the poorest countries in the world. All the more valuable are the economic drive and the jobs created by tourism in the country. Unfortunately, many locals are not yet qualified for the associated jobs. We want to change that!

For this purpose we work together with the local vocational school in Vilankulo. Young Mozambicans are trained there as craftsmen, bricklayers, electricians and barkeepers. The training professions are now to be expanded to include cooks and kitchen assistants, as there is a demand for skilled workers. But so far a training kitchen with appropriate equipment and teachers is missing.

Our foundation has set itself the task of building and equipping a complete kitchen for the vocational school. In addition, we plan to send trained specialists from Germany to Mozambique after completion of the building. They will train the teachers there for the new lessons and help out with the elaboration of the lesson contents.

Support us! Your contribution will not only help us to set up the kitchen, but will also enable many young people to build a foothold for themselves.
