More than 60 experts share their knowledge of tourism, the hotel industry and gastronomy in more than 1,300 entries in this encyclopedia of the hospitality industry. In entries of varying length, from explanations of technical terms to longer articles, the encyclopedia covers airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operators, the hotel and catering industry, reservation systems, tourism organizations and much more.
In addition, the thematic connection to central business, legal, social and psychological contexts is established, which contributes to a deeper interdisciplinary understanding.
