Wie und Was wir unterstützen wollen
The FHF Bachelor Award is a prize money of 500,00 € with a trophy and certificate for the best bachelor theses of graduates of the study program "BWL - Hotellerie, Gastronomie, Tourismus" at the DHBW Ravensburg. With the FHF Bachelor Award, we make their scientific and academic performance visible. At the same time, it serves to motivate the current students.
A jury of experts consisting of teachers from the DHBW Ravensburg evaluates all bachelor theses of a graduating class according to various criteria. This is not just about the final grade. The theoretical and empirical work as well as the current relevance of the topic for practice are considered.
The hospitality industry in Germany suffers from the reputation of being a poorly paid industry with hard working hours. When deciding on a course of study, many therefore do not consider the hotel, catering and tourism industries. In the process, it is lost how varied and full of opportunities the industry is. The result is a glaring shortage of skilled workers in Germany.
The FHF Bachelor Award is an indirect measure against the shortage of skilled workers. The award raises awareness of hospitality industry issues and helps improve the image of the industry to make both studies and job opportunities attractive.
